Ohio Sec. of State Setback (scent of fraud?)

Good news for all, but better news for the Ohio readers of RGR (Ohio ranks 3rd overall in RGR readers).

This evening a federal judge ruled against Democrat Ohio Secretary of State’s review and county-sharing of voter registrations. Now, there is a lot out there on voter fraud, Faith Vote and ACORN so if you’ve been living under a rock, I encourage you to start reading this post on RGR, but check out these other links. here. here. and my favorite here.

“It is hard to imagine a public interest more compelling than safeguarding the legitimacy of the election of the president of the United States,” said Judge George C. Smith of U.S. District Court in Columbus, Ohio.

This Columbus Dispatch article: “Brunner’s office had been doing the verification but had not made the names available to county elections boards. The judge gave her a week to comply.”

Now the Sec. of State is evidently saying she needs more time to update “their software.” As IF the Ohio Secretary of State didn’t know this election was coming?

Brunner’s office is planning to file an immediate appeal with the 6th U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeals.

Go Buckeyes! Make them follow the law!

P.S. Greta on FOX was going in an interview with Sec of State and asked about the reports of voter fraud from palestra.net included in my linked post above. Sec of State writes a letter to Greta producers saying she was “ambushed” by the questioning. Maybe it’s the Ohio Secretary of State who’s been living under a rock?

P.P.S. CNN’s Kiran Chetry (yep, the gal who used to be at FOX) was dinged by Newsmax for never saying the word “ACORN” on her reports about Ohio (and other state) voter fraud this morning on CNN’s American Morning. I guess CNN *really* does love Obama that much. amazing…

P.P.P.S. A quick check at 11:01 p.m. ET of CBS, NBC, CNN, ABC news home pages yielded NOT ONE story on ACORN and charges of voter fraud in any state. Maybe they’re all under the same rock?
