RED GIRL RISING

The caption says it all.

Make no mistake that recent SNL skits have actually brought me to tears. Not tears of laughter, tears of fear. Their overt assault on Gov. Sarah Palin has been more than I can take. However, I’m still TiVo-ing SNL so I can see how they’re playing their part in making liberal/progressives and college-kids fearful of Gov. Palin because she likes guns, babies, and Jesus. - Oh and don’t forget the culture/class war they’re brewing against her accent and “small town” values. The Saturday night poke-a-stick-at Palin fest is often on the front page of every mainstream news website Sunday-Monday (NYT, Dallas Morning News, Orlando Sentinel, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, et. al). Saturday night SNL took the gloves off and went after GWB, Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, Herb and & Marion Sandler and the one-and-only - George Soros. Herb & Marion, reportedly friends of Soros who brought down Wachovia Bank. The Sandlers owned Golden West Mortgage and sold it to Wachovia for $24.2 billion in 2006. Sounds good so far. Here’s the issue - the Sandler’s Golden West Mortage was made out of subprime mortgages. I’ll say the word “subprime” again so it sinks in. When you think “predatory lending” do you think an elderly couple from California with ties to the most liberal Democrat-party causes? I do now. See more coverage of the Sandler’s here.

The Soros part of the skit is by far the most telling. Under his character they write “Owner of the Democratic Party.” Whoa! Did they really say that? Yes they did. And for the first time in memory, I agree with SNL. Soros has bought the Democrat party and wrestled it away from traditional Democrats - Bill Clinton for example. The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review article October 5, 2008 - “Indeed, Eli Pariser, who heads MoveOn.org, boasted of his group’s role in the Democratic Party: ‘Now it’s our party: We bought it, we own it, we are going to take it back.’”

Soros is a convicted felon and known socialist (Socialism - government owns everything: banks, hospitals, schools, land, etc. and doles out to all citizens. History shows that socialism is the gateway drug into Communism.) The Democracy Alliance is a group of Soros & Friends who combine their billions to create liberal activist groups (Moveon.org - placed the ad “General Betrayus” in NYT this summer; ACORN - yep, the ACORN being investigated for voter registration fraud in 15 states today; and Media Matters - the group responsible for the Obama-campaign’s public relations machine.) Investor’s Business Daily recently did an article on Soros being the single greatest threat to America.

The original SNL skit included the words “People Who Should Be Shot” under the names of Herb & Marion. SNL pulled the skit from its website, changed this and made other edits as well. See the breakdown of edits by SNL here.

The more I research Herb & Marion Sandler and Golden West, their fingerprints are all over the subprime disaster and the reasoning for the $700 billion “cow patty” bailout. However, nothing gets me more than George Soros. I haven’t resorted to donning a tin foil hat yet, but the Democracy Alliance and its highjacking of the Democrat party is why Democrat groups like Hillary-supporters, PUMA (Party Unity My A**) are the primary source investigating ACORN and the Democracy Alliance. This isn’t a pack of Republicans investigating the scent of socialism, it’s traditional Democrats.

But the SNL skit connection to the Obama campaign is most relavant here. “Obama, however, is different from most Democrats because of his willingness to embrace the controversial Soros. Shortly after Soros equated the abuses at the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, Obama joined him in New York for a fund-raiser June 7,” reports Newsmax. They tag Obama as being the face of the new Soros Party. And American Girl is convinced that most traditional Democrats in America have no idea.

American Girl has lots of Democrat friends and family. Traditional Democrats. Aunt who votes Democrat because of her husband’s life-long service to General Motors. Cousin who votes Democrat because he doesn’t like the Iraqi war because we didn’t find WMDs. Friend who is voting Democrat because she thinks it’s time for new “blood” in Washington. Who’s telling these people about the Democracy Alliance and the Soros Party? I think SNL just tipped them off.
